Registration

ZuMUN is separated into committees for high school students and committees for university students. Depending on which category you belong to, the registration procedure is slightly different. Everything is described below, after the registration links.

The committee assignment will be made available in the second half of March. Group delegations will receive a list of assigned committees and the corresponding countries. The subdivision of those to their individual delegates will be taken care of by their head delegate.

Registration will close on 1st April and corresponding payments must be on our bank account until 9th April.

If you do not receive a confirmation E-mail within 10 minutes, if you need a visa to enter Switzerland or if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us via registration@zumun.ch.

The payment can be done online with credit card or bank direct at the registration shop. Due to technical reasons, you will have to enter the packages you want to book again.

If you are unable to pay online you can also pay via a normal bank transfer. Please contact registration@zumun.ch.

 

University Committees

 

Single Delegates

If you are a student and want to join ZuMUN without being part of a group, you should sign up as Single Delegate. Members of the MUN societies of UZH and ETH should also register as single delegates.

Delegations

If you are travelling to ZuMUN in a group, you participate as a delegation with a Head Deleagate. The Head Delegate is in charge of paying the delegate and social package fees and appearing in person to confirm the arrival of your delegation on the first day of the conference and is our contact person in case of any questions concerning your delegation on our side. If you are not the Head Delegate of your delegation and are joining an existing delegation, you do not have to fill in any of these forms. You will receive all necessary information per email once your Head Delegate invited you into the delegation.

 

High school committees

High school participants are required to be part of a delegation that is accompanied by a faculty advisor (teacher or other supervisor). This faculty advisor is responsible for the students’ online registration, paying the delegate fees (and possibly social fees), presenting themselves at the registration office on the first day to confirm the arrival of their delegation, as well as for the well-being of their delegation members for the duration of the conference. ZuMUN does not take on any responsibility for supervising minors. The faculty advisor will also be our contact person if there are any questions concerning delegates under their supervision.
