EU/EEA nationals and non-European nationals holding a residence permit for a Schengen country do not need a visa to enter Switzerland.

Delegates not fulfilling these conditions may be required to apply for a Schengen visa at a Swiss embassy/consulate. Further information can be found here:

Delegates who need an invitation letter should contact the ZuMUN staff under as early as possible. Invitation letters are only issued to delegates/delegations who have completed their registration process, including payment of all relevant fees.

It is every delegate’s own responsibility to organize his or her visa. ZuMUN does not assume any liability, neither for the completeness and/or correctness of the above information, nor in case of the visa application’s refusal by the Swiss embassy.

We offer a 50% refund for delegates that cancel their participation before January 1st. Participants that cannot attend ZuMUN due to a visa rejection can still apply for a refund after the deadline. Please note however that due to our payment system, refunds after 90 days from payment are not possible in either case.

Delegates are advised to submit their visa application as early as possible.
